I am now the proud owner of a Nikon D40 DSLR.

No longer will I be limited by motion or bad lighting or unreasonable focal lengths. The world is my oyster! Bwahahahaha! Ahem.

What's more, another cousin is getting married. Wedding photography is the best way I know of getting acquainted to a camera quickly.

I'm thinking of posing the new camera and photographing it with my old compact model. A handover ceremony, of sorts. Then I could put the picture here. Shall I?

In other news, I just got back from Egypt. Plenty of new photos. Some shall end up here.

School starts in half a week. Must prepare and stuff.
